Privacy and consent

Story submissions and witness details are kept private and are never published automatically. Names and identifying details can be withheld, and consent is confirmed with contributors before anything is published.

If sensitive material about you or someone you know has been published, write to us and our editorial team will review the request for correction or removal.

We do not publish unverified allegations as fact. Every account is reviewed by our editorial team before publication.
